As a member of the nation-wide volunteer network organized by JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization), TOKYO SGG CLUB provides free sightseeing information and a choice of a free guided walking tour of Asakusa, the Ueno Park area, Yanaka area and the Imperial Palace East Gardens area.

2019/07/22 Free guided tours during the summer seasonHeat stroke is a risk during summer in Japan. We put the safety of visitors first, so free guided tours scheduled in July and August will be canceled if the heat stress index (measured by wet-bulb globe temperature, or WBGT) announced on the Heat Illness Prevention Information website of the Ministry of the Environment (http://www.wbgt.env.go.jp/en/) reaches the level of Danger (more than 31°C) at the time the tours are scheduled. Even if the heat stress index is not in the range of Danger, the free guided tours may be canceled or held on a shorter route in order to reduce the risk of heat stroke. |
